- After nesting, you can use Inventor CAM to create a computer numerical control (CNC) code that will ultimately turn Inventor designs into excellent finished parts. This class will share best practices for preparing your model, for using nesting to lay out cutting patterns and minimize raw material waste, and for generating a toolpath for machining.

Autodesk Inventor Nesting Utility 2021.1. Autodesk Inventor Nesting Utility is CAD-embedded sheet metal nesting software that helps optimize yield from flat raw material. Applying Updates
This hotfix can be applied as a standalone application without having a previous version of Inventor Nesting already installed. If there is a previous version of Inventor Nesting on your computer, this hotfix will silently uninstall it. Uninstalling this update will not revert to a previously installed Inventor Nesting version.
After applying this hotfix, the product build information in the About Box will be:
- Autodesk Inventor Nesting 2020.0.3 HotFix
- Product Version: 4.0.211
- Error when opening Nesting DXF file in AutoCAD.
